Degree top-ups

Turn your diploma into a UK degree. Top up to a bachelor's or master's degree with a partner university, studying online with the support of LSAE.

How a top-up works

A top-up is the final stage of a degree. If you already hold a recognised diploma — for example an RQF Level 5 or Level 7 diploma — you may enter the final year of a bachelor's degree or complete a master's with fewer credits to study.

The degree is awarded by the partner university and sits on the Framework for Higher Education Qualifications (FHEQ). Each programme page names the university and its role.

Three ways we work with universities

Delivery: we teach and support you, and the university awards the degree. Validation: the university validates a programme we designed and deliver. Recruitment: we help you choose and apply, and you study with the university directly.

The partnership model is shown for each university on our university partners page.

How admissions works

  1. Step 1: Check you are eligible

Your diploma or prior study must meet the programme's entry requirements.

  2. Step 2: Apply online

Send your application, transcripts and a personal statement.

  3. Step 3: Interview and offer

Some programmes include a short online interview before an offer is made.

  4. Step 4: Enrol with the university

Accept your offer, pay your deposit and enrol for the next intake.
